To new beginnings

Launching Something Fast, Modern, and Built to Scale

It’s been a ride getting this site up, and I’m stoked to finally share what’s under the hood. This isn’t just a personal project—it’s a foundation for what’s next.

What’s Powering This Thing

The site is self-hosted on a managed Hetzner VPS, with Coolify making deployments and server management way less of a headache. Goodbye Vercel. After some trial and error (and locking things down hard), it’s solid and fast.

The real star, though, is PayloadCMS. This open-source headless CMS is a beast. It hooks straight into my monorepo and local API, giving me full control over content and structure. Honestly, it’s blown my mind with how developer-friendly and flexible it is.

And of course, the frontend is built with Next.js 15 and React 19. React 19 stable dropped barely a week ago, so I’m diving headfirst into its latest features. Big shout out to the Discord community—they were a lifeline when I had no fucking idea about what Next/React decided with cache.

What’s Next

This setup isn’t just about me—it’s a base for client work and bigger, bolder projects. Whether it’s building insanely fast websites, crafting killer user experiences, or tackling experimental ideas, I’m ready to roll.

If you like what I’ve built here, let’s talk. This is just the beginning, and I’m pumped to see what’s next.
